Óscar Lería Chateau

He is the founder and prime mover of Maratue, one of Chile’s most important land management projects. With more than 1,000 hectares for 15,000 homes and diverse land uses, Maratue seeks to redefine urban development through a sustainable and innovative approach, integrating nature, community and modern infrastructure.

With a track record of more than four decades in the real estate sector, he began his career in 1978 with the founding of Constructora Aconcagua, dedicated to housing for the middle and lower segments. After selling his stake in 1994, he continued to lead large-scale projects, managing more than 1.5 million m². In addition, in 2014 he co-founded the Spanish real estate company OSIM, with investments of more than €300 million. His experience also spans other sectors, participating in retail, agriculture, food, soccer and wellness companies.

He was academically trained in Spain and later in Chile, where he completed an MBA at Universidad Adolfo Ibañez. His entrepreneurial vision and leadership have been key in the materialization of innovative projects in different industries, establishing himself as a benchmark in the management and development of major initiatives.
