The Lería family’s housing project in Puchuncaví continues to take shape. This week, a group of architects from Foster + Partners arrived in Santiago from London to participate in the master plan design. Their objective was to visit the site where the real estate development will be located, which envisions the construction of 14,000 homes over a 45-year period.
Juan Frigerio, the Foster + Partners partner in charge of Maratué, had already told DF MAS in October that a team from the British firm would come to Chile in December to begin the engineering and construction phase, which will be carried out gradually.
The key day was Saturday, December 7th. A private event was held that day at the former Quirilluca estate, bringing together more than 200 people, including authorities, housing committees, and residents of Puchuncaví. At the event, project representatives outlined the next steps in the development of this initiative.
Some of the attendees were Claudia Lería, executive director of Maratué, Oscar Lería, president of Osler Inversiones, and Juan Frigerio, partner at Foster + Partners.
